AI Tools Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 22, 2026
Introduction
Let’s Quit Teaching provides AI-powered instructional design tools to help educators plan learning experiences, develop instructional activities, create assessments, and make informed instructional decisions. We believe technology should support educators in designing meaningful learning experiences while respecting the privacy of teachers and learners.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when educators use Let’s Quit Teaching AI tools, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect and Process
Our instructional tools are designed to operate without requiring educators to provide personally identifiable information. Depending on the tool, users may provide grade levels, learning targets, academic standards, lesson topics, instructional preferences, or other classroom-related information necessary to generate the requested resources.
Some tools operate through ChatGPT, while others may connect to instructional services operated by Let’s Quit Teaching using Model Context Protocol (MCP). When these connected tools are used, the information necessary to complete the requested task may be transmitted to the LQT instructional service.
We do not intentionally request or require names of individual learners, student identification numbers, educational records, medical information, passwords, financial information, or other sensitive personal information. Educators should not submit this information when using our tools.
How Information Is Used
Information submitted through LQT AI tools is used to fulfill the educator’s instructional request. This may include identifying appropriate teaching strategies, generating learning activities, creating instructional resources, or evaluating proposed lesson designs against stated instructional criteria.
Let’s Quit Teaching does not sell or rent personal information. We do not use information submitted to our instructional tools for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or commercial marketing based on individual instructional requests.
AI Platforms and Third-Party Services
LQT instructional tools may operate within ChatGPT or other supported AI platforms. Information entered into these platforms is subject to the applicable platform’s privacy policies, settings, and data-handling practices.
Some LQT tools use remotely hosted MCP services to retrieve instructional resources or perform specific educational functions. Our Opener Generator MCP service is hosted using Render, a third-party cloud hosting provider.
When these services are used, the information required to process the instructional request may pass through the relevant hosting infrastructure. Technical information, including IP addresses, request timestamps, request paths, and service activity, may also be processed as part of normal hosting, security, and system operation.
Users are encouraged to review the applicable privacy practices of OpenAI and Render.
Technical Logs and Service Monitoring
To maintain the reliability and security of our MCP services, technical logs may record service requests, connection activity, errors, and the names of instructional tools executed.
Our current Opener Generator MCP application logging is designed to record tool execution without intentionally recording the educator’s learning target, lesson description, or other instructional input within those tool-call log entries.
Hosting infrastructure may separately generate access logs and other operational records. These records are used to diagnose technical problems, maintain service reliability, and investigate potential misuse.
Data Storage and Retention
Let’s Quit Teaching does not maintain a separate database of learner records submitted through the Opener Generator MCP service. The current instructional service processes requests to provide results without intentionally saving complete instructional prompts in a separate LQT application database.
Operational logs may be temporarily retained by our hosting provider according to the applicable hosting configuration and retention schedule. Retention periods may differ among hosting plans and services.
Information processed within ChatGPT or another AI platform may be retained according to that provider’s policies and the user’s applicable account settings. Let’s Quit Teaching does not independently control those records.
User Choices and Privacy Requests
Educators should provide only the information necessary to obtain instructional support and should avoid entering personally identifiable or sensitive information about themselves or individual learners.
Users may discontinue use of LQT tools at any time. Requests or questions concerning information within Let’s Quit Teaching’s control may be directed to the contact address below. We will review applicable requests to access, correct, or delete information where technically feasible and legally required.
Information maintained independently by ChatGPT, Render, or another service provider may be subject to that provider’s separate procedures and controls.
Educational Use and Professional Responsibility
LQT tools are intended to assist educators with instructional planning and design. Educators remain responsible for reviewing generated content for accuracy, appropriateness, alignment with applicable standards, and suitability for their learners.
Educators and institutions are responsible for complying with applicable privacy requirements, school policies, and restrictions concerning learner information. The tools are not intended to collect or manage individual learner records.
Changes to This Policy
Let’s Quit Teaching may update this Privacy Policy as its instructional tools, technology, or applicable requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
